Intenzív rövid dinamikus (ISTDP) szupervízió Jon Fredericksonnal - 2026. II félév
Jon Frederickson, an American psychotherapist and internationally recognized ISTDP teacher, will provide online supervision during the Fall 2026 semester for clinicians interested in psychodynamic psychotherapy.

This semester offers nine opportunities to learn ISTDP through real clinical cases presented by participants. Case presenters from the Hungarian and Slovak ISTDP Core Training programs will rotate throughout the semester. During each session, participants observe a 50-minute supervision conducted in English, followed by a 10-minute discussion where all attendees are invited to ask questions and share reflections.

Recordings of each supervision session will be available to registered participants after the event. Nevertheless, we strongly encourage live participation every Thursday, as the ongoing group process and professional community are valuable parts of the learning experience.

Supervisor

Jon Frederickson has over 40 years of experience in psychotherapy, supervision, and teaching. Since 1988 he has taught at the Washington School of Psychiatry and became Co-Chair of its ISTDP Training Program in 2005. He teaches in ISTDP training programs across Europe, North America, the Middle East, India, and Australia. He has authored more than fifty articles and book chapters and has published six books. His book Co-Creating Change received first prize in Psychiatry at the 2014 British Medical Association Book Awards.

ISTDP

Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) is an evidence-based psychodynamic treatment developed to help patients achieve rapid and lasting change. Research has demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, somatic symptom disorders, personality disorders, and a wide range of self-defeating patterns rooted in problematic attachment experiences.
